An excellent question...I'd also like to know how she equates being paid as a television pundit while on the taxpayer payroll.

Seriously, though, I am of the opinion that the reason MB is doing this is because she's getting the cold shoulder in the House. She's going to be totally ineffective thanks to her bridge burning attitudes. (pun intended)

Please correct me if anyone has evidence to the contrary, but I'd be surprised if Rep. Bachmann receives any money for her TV appearances.
Over the years, I've been on the "O'Reilly Factor," "Countdown with Keith Olbermann, and I few other shows and have never received as much as a dime. I paid out of pocket for making the trip from the St. Cloud area to the studio in the Twin Cities.
The only exception has been "Countdown," which sent a driver to pick me up for the interview and drive me back home afterwards.

Well, that makes me feel better, and I should have known better than to make the assumption. I suppose the compensation comes in being able to get your viewpoint out to as many people as possible.^__^
Although, I do still question why she has the time to do this when there's so much going on in Congress that needs her attention. ^_^;;;
